Dinah will be teaching moves and combinations used by Egypt's top belly dancers. In this workshop you will strengthen your Egyptian technique while learning tips and tricks that will enhance your dancing!
This workshop is open to beginner to advanced level dancers. Previous belly dance experience is recommended.
Drum Solo 101
1:30pm-4:00pm
$25.00
Learn everything you need to know about drum solos! Shahrzad will be teaching the moves, personality, and musicality that make for dynamic and exciting drum solos. She will be covering moves, layering, combinations, and a short choreography.
This workshop is open to beginner to advanced level dancers. Previous belly dance experience is recommended.
Intro to Belly Dance

Never learned Egyptian belly dance? Want to try it? This is the perfect opportunity! Shahrzad will teach all the basic moves while explaining some of the fitness benefits of the dance. This workshop is also great for dancers who want to brush up on the basics. Anyone can attend this workshop, no previous dance training of any kind is required.
Belly dance show
Doors open at 6:15pm, performances start at 7:00pm
$10.00, kids under 5 get in for free.
This show will feature the workshop teachers, some of the participants, and top professional dancers in the area.
There are still 2 or 3 sots open for the show, contact ASAP if you would like to be in it.
Devadasi will be setting up shop and selling through out all the workshops and the show. They sell belly dance costumes from beginner to top professional, cds, hip scarfs, jewelry, props, pretty much everything!
All workshops and performances will be taking place at the Center for the Creative Arts
